There are many resources  aimed to  "tourists",   few  or none aimed  to  "travelers".     ABOUT TRAVEL BOOKS Most of the travel books just pointout   "what is there"  without including an evaluation   from an experienced point of  view.     Many authors will take in account if they  were  lodged  or  fed  in order to include the  place in their catalogue.   Most of the places  have never been visited by the authors.  They just  take whatever was there before and  expand it or  shrink it.  Travel books are out dated and  most of the tieme only include  information about well known issues.   ( no out of the beaten path info) The delay between  investigation and  actual  publication,   The  gap between one edition and the next one,     The  cost  that  limits  the publishers to just a handful of  suggestions.   Most of the little things worth  seeing, small  hotels, local food restaurants,   ARE NOT IN THE TRAVEL BOOKS.     Many just  continue to publish old stuff that is  not there anymore  or  has changed in quality,  sometimes for the better.    Travel articles  are  most of the time  "paid"   or  in "exchange"  for services.    The  REAL  info comes from  travelers  themselves.    This is a page where  you may post your articles and contributions  to inform  others  of your findings  while traveling.    A "traveler"   will  go anyplace  to  experience   a UNIQUE  site ,  a  unique food,    a unique feeling...... Travelers  thrive in  discovering or uncovering  the little  things.   the just for  "conaisseurs" THE SPECIALTY TRAVELER: Mature  travelers that have seen all,  find motivation on  special events .       An example of this  would be   "Inventions shows",   Food shows,   Music concerts , etc.   The  motivator  is  the  event,  the  tourist scene  will be done  on the "side" if  ever done at all.     Most of the time  this  kind of  "travelers"  have already visited  the landmarks  over and over again, now they turn their attention to   "special things to  experience" .  This type of traveler  thrives on   the special  "out of the beaten path"  sites , food  and   places. TRAVELERS WITH ONE  INTEREST: Are the ones  which motivation is  focused in one motivation.   GOOD FOOD !   NATURE !   WORLD WONDERS!  DESERTS !   UNDERWATER !  CAVES !  FALLS !  RARE ANIMALS ! SCIENCE !   ARQUITECTURE !  GARDENS !  SHOPPING ! ANTIQUES !, ARCHEOLOGY !,     etc.    The purpose of this site is  to  make available to  "travelers"  of any type. Information and  experiences of  other fellow "travelers" .  The latest and up to date info on rates and prices The up to date information about a place.  The out of the beaten path  special places Little findings  or  "gourmandises"  that constitute the highlights of  travels. Things that  should be avoided in order to save time , money and energy. Is the  "event"  worth  visiting ? Is there a good selection of  antiques ? Is the underwater  spectacle worth the move?
